WSU testifies before Senate Higher Education committee

Washington State University testified on January 17th in before a work session of the Senate Higher Education committee. The presentation included an overview of the reach of WSU through its campuses – WSU  Pullman, WSU Spokane, WSU Tri-Cities, WSU Vancouver, WSU North Puget Sound at Everett, and WSU Global campus – and its four research and extension centers. Updates include an update on the Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine, a priority for the university – take action and use your voice to support the medical students who will be starting classes this fall.

Washington State University outlined its top budget priorities before the Senate Higher Education committee during a work session earlier this morning.
The land-grant institution gave an overview on its geographical reach across the state and updated the committee on the status of current university initiatives, including a brief summary of the developing Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine.
