Join Us, Register, and Contact Your Legislators

WSU Impact asks you to join us and register so you can be an effective citizen advocate for higher education and WSU. Contacting your state officials is easy through WSU Impact. Your elected representatives are interested in hearing from their constituents and in knowing how you feel on specific topics. Please see below for some important updates concerning enhancing the security of WSU Impact’s advocacy tools!

Additional tips are provided below on how to successfully register and why registering is your key to being a part of WSU Impact. Please note: you will be asked for your email address, which will act as your “username”.  You will also be asked for a password.

By registering to be a member of WSU Impact, we will provide opportunities for supporters of WSU to take action during the legislative session in support of higher education issues and WSU.  You will receive easy access to send messages directly to your legislators. We also provide news articles, editorials, sample messages, and other helpful tools in our tool kit to help you become more familiar with issues facing higher education and WSU and tips for an effective citizen advocate.

If you a new to WSU Impact: Click “Register Here

You will be directed to a “Register New Account” page. Please fill in the requested information such as name, address including city, state, and zip, your phone number, a preferred email address and a password unique to you. At the bottom of the registration form, you will be asked to fill in your preferred email address again as your login name. Once you are completed filling in the requested fields, click submit and you are now registered and will receive updates and calls to action on a periodic basis. Our site will be able to link you directly with your legislators when needed.

Special Instructions for WSU Impact members who registered prior to the afternoon of January 30, 2013:  If you have been engaged as a registered member of WSU Impact or the Alumni Information Network, your name and email may already be in our eAdvocacy software system.

If you find that your name and email are already in our system, you will click on the “edit profilelink in the gray box on the right hand side of your screen. Add in the correct information into the registration fields on the page titled “Manage Account” e.g., your address including city, state, and zip, your phone number, your preferred email address, and the generic security information provided in an email sent to our registered members on January 30, 2013.  At the bottom of the registration page, you will be asked to fill in your preferred email address again as your login name.

Once you have completed filling in the requested fields, please click submit. You are now fully registered and will receive updates and calls to action on a periodic basis. Our site will be able to link you directly with your legislators when needed.
